What a Great Day! – Barista, Brewer, Wine Cycle Tour     ***NEW***

What a great day! Louis and the team are such a friendly lot. Great start with a superb coffee at the local roasters in Nuriootpa (the best I had in the Barossa), three great winery visits (and extensive tastings!), a lovely lunch with goodies from the local farmers market, completed with a gin tasting at the local distillery. For coffee/wine/gin lovers – highly recommend. We had the electric bikes which were fabulous – you can choose to pedal as normal or choose the electric boost. Scenery is beautiful, as was the side stop at a quaint cottage in Lightpass. Autumn in the Barossa on bike – does not get any better. Thanks Louis and Leanne for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our day with Barossa Bike Hire and, especially, Louis. The wines and food pairings at all of our stops were really delicious. They really made an effort to find wines that we would enjoy. We appreciated being able to take our time at each stop and never felt hurried. It was especially nice to meet the owners at some of the vineyards. The bikes were in great condition. I even tried an E-Bike for the first time and even though the uphill part of the bike tour was very gentle and easy, the E-Bike was really fun. We don’t often take guided tours, but this was one we will never forget. and heartily recommend.

Great Bike Hire – Delivered Bike Hire

We had a day biking in the Barossa and Louis could not have been more helpful. Our son and partner joined us and nothing was too much trouble. Louis dropped off the bikes for us at our accommodation in Tanunda . We were able to bike afterwards to Louis and he dropped us off at our accommodation afterwards. The bikes were lovely – looked like they were new! Would definitely recommend using Barossa Bike Hire for anyone thinking of hiring bikes in the Barossa. Louis also has all the local knowledge and information you need to help you along the way.

Fantasic Service and a Perfect Way to Tour the Barossa – Delivered Bike Hire

Not only did they deliver the bikes straight to our hotel door – while also customising the bikes for us and giving us a run-down on the bikes and where to go. They also provided a take home hamper and a map with the Butcher Baker and Winemaker trail – which took us through the lovely vineyards and over hills along a bike trail; tasting wine, cheese and collecting little samples to take home. This was a lovely day, full of fun, photos and everything was laid out for us with our map and cooler hamper. This is a must for any Barossa visitor.

Excellent Way to See the Barossa – Cheese & Wine Trail Hamper

We had a brilliant day in the Barossa thanks to Barossa Bike Hire. We chose the package which included bikes and the picnic hamper. The food was excellent – a real taste of the Barossa and it all came neatly packed in a cooler bag that we could keep. This proved to be very handy as it provided space to hold our bottles of wine to take home on the plane – perfect hand luggage! The service was excellent and our bikes were dropped off at our hotel and collected at the end of the day. Maps and brochures were provided so that we had a good idea of what was in the area. It was so nice to see an organisation that was so passionate about its region and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time there. Great!

Clean, New Bikes and Beautiful Vineyard Cycling – Bike Hire

Having a cycling enthusiast as a partner often means that we end up spending much of our holidays on two wheels. Our experience from previous occasions has been that hire bikes are often a bit tired and in need of a decent service. This is definitely NOT the case at Barossa Bike Hire.

Louis is friendly and clearly passionate about his bikes as they were truly spotless and a dream to ride. Hired the bikes for a half day from Nurioopta and had a lovely cycle to nearby Angaston on separated cycle paths through vineyards and more – a truly lovely afternoon. Highly recommend – quick, easy and thoroughly enjoyable.
